Research experience
- 2020 - 2021: Research Project, The Study of Color Shifting in High Dynamic Range OLED Displays
- Columbia university, Supervised by Prof. Ioannis Kymissis, Chair of Electrical Engineering Department
- Observed color shifting in the HDR mode playback and measured on commercial high-end OLED panels from two different companies to prove the damaging effect after displayed High Dynamic Range (HDR) video on an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display aged for 1200 hours.
- Measured the system to quantify the color shift in aged OLED panels, which laid the groundwork for furtherresearch related to the differences in gamma curves for the SDR and HDR measurement targets.
- 2019 - 2019: Research Project, Physiological NMR Summer Research
- Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School,Supervised by Dr. Huamei He
- Perfused isolated mouse hearts in Langendorff mode with 10mM [1,2-13C2]-glucose low-flow ischemia successively, recorded the cardiac function with PowerLab Data Acquisition Systems and determined the lipid peroxidation with the Colorimetric/Fluorometric Assay Kit.
- Investigated flux of glucose through Pentose Phosphate Pathway (PPP) and glycolysis in mouse hearts subject to low-flow ischemia by perfusing the isolated mouse hearts in Langendorff mode, and concluded that [1,2-C]-glucose could be used to simultaneously assess flux of glucose through PPP and glycolysis, and the flux of glucose through both PPP and glycolysis increased during myocardial low- flow ischemia.
